Information on green stamp - WEEE cost of the company BILANCIA EXIM SRL

For electrical products, pursuant to OUG 5/2015 on Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), published in the Official Gazette, Part I, No. 253 of 16.04.2015, the Manufacturers and distributors are bound to inform the buyers, at the time of EEE sale, about the cost of collection, recycling and disposal under environmental conditions, by separately highlighting such cost.

The green stamp is the main instrument for financing the processes of WEEE collection and recycling; according to the legal norms in force, the manufacturers are bound to invest the amounts collected from users in the recycling processes. It applies to each newly purchased EEE, it has a fixed price level per product category and it depends on the recycling capacity of the relevant EEE.
